i have to go for a consultation at the national dental centre

have been extremely busy these weeks.
school is so horrid
assignments are so tough and they just keep piling up exponentially

but onto happier things!!
these are some pics that i took with my d-slr :)
and its seriously super easy to use i tell you
just turn the dial to the desired picture and snap!

but then there's the complicated thing of white balance, lighting, shutter speed and all that
which gets me extremely muddled
and i was thinking of taking classes but they are just as expensive as getting the slr.
its like $200 for a few lessons and these are just beginner lessons not the more advanced classes
plus no one wants to go with me to take them :(

oh and taking pictures after it rains makes the pictures all blurry and blotchy
the effects are pretty cool i must say.

i just reached home and my feet are aching.
the party was fantastic and i didnt even have time to whip out my camera and take pictures.
everything was so pretty and poshy moshy
and i had fun
kelly tan on the other hand drank 2 glasses of white wine (all alcohol was free flow) and i just had plain orange juice.
but it was still fun.
met alot of pple like the marketing managers of zuiji, people from procter and gamble
seriously its like good networking!!!!!

honestly pple working life isn't all that bad.
to think that i was dreading the party in the afternoon.
talked to melpok she received my present yay!!! i hope keaps gets hers hahahaha
can't wait for u two to come back.

oh my gosh i'm actually having fun during internship.
i've honestly learnt shitloads and guess what!! today me and kelly sat in during one of the meetings and it was FUN.
we both agreed that we should have sat in the meeting before we went for our marketing exam.
i'm excited :)

but one thing which i'm horribly upset about was the fact that during the whole meeting the 4 ang mohs were dominating the conversation when we singaporeans have been brought up buying stuff from NTUC. (the discussion was about NTUC by the way) and i heard not a peep from the chinese people. honestly if i wasn't a lowly intern, i would have said something. bah.

tmrw is gonna be a long long day there's a cannes prediction party at dempsey and its gonna be huge.

i'm a happy NUT.

i really do not have time to blog. i've become sadly busy. and in karl marx's words i've become a cog in the clockwork of life. i wonder if kok is back from thai yet and i'm waiting for keaps and mels to come back in july. i want to plan a high stakes poker. soon.

internship has started the only good thing is that i have pretty working clothes.

i've been studying so much lately that i even dream what i'm studying and i subconsciously remind myself, when i'm sleeping not to make that mistake or not to forget that vital piece of information. i swear its not even funny anymore.

i think we put our bodies under immense amounts of stress when we go for an exam. and someone just jumped down into the cck tracks on monday and i wonder why it isn't on the news. maybe they don't want to popularise that suicide method.

sometimes i just want to peel back my whole scalp and see whats inside my brain. i sure wont be surprised if i see another person residing in it cos lately i've been talking to myself. and its long lengthy conversations. i reply to myself. sad but i'm oddly comforted. this is disturbing.

they play music that are seriously hypnotic.
i swear that when i was listening to the song i was enthralled.
i start to feel all thingly and jumpy and before i know it, i bop
yes my friends i bop. and i hate bobbing its not dancing neither its grooving
bobbing is a class of its own where people just shuffle, wriggle and jiggle from side to side.
something like vacillating. bit not in a strained arthritic manner.
its just hard to describe. but that how people "dance"

uploaded some videos from mosiac :) the band called fujiya and miyagi are pretty good. i think they play electroclash. not my type of music but it was good; surprisingly. found myself bobbing to some of the tunes. check out the last video. its my favourite and if you can't make out wad he's saying its "don't put your hands in other people's pockets" and i found it amusing that his wearing a run dmc shirt.

so going out with kok, shanna and the rest were as always- fun. kok has a pretty bright future ahead of her. and i'm friggin happy for my munchkin. her starting pay is awesome at 2.2. we're planning to move out tgt :) thats my dream but its going to be her reality. damn. and she's mature beyond her years. hey kok, talking with u made me feel somewhat inspired!! hurhur. some friends are for keeps. i love u

and sadly even though i'm the first to turn 21, i feel oddly young/immature compared with kok especially. considering the fact that i have nothing, an enormous freaking blank when i decide on my supposedly future.

the coward in me is thinking to just marry some rich fart and just dwadle life away. but then, here's where i think i can understand why i'm my mother's daughter. i don't think i'll ever be that person who just sits there and let life just pass her by. people say to live life to its fullest and to grab it by its reins but then the real way of living life is to have a plan and i guess direction. which i don't think i have at this point which saddens me to no count. but i'm just hoping and praying that as i plod on to complete my pathetic degree that i can like newton, get hit by an apple and get insight. yes, thats my futile thinking.

but as for now, i'm going to send my scraggly, lamentable cv to everyone. SPAM is the word.

Mosiac on friday, pudge scored tickets :) wonder how thats gonna be like considering i'm prety shallow when it comes to choosing music. to me, the ones that are good are those that have lyrics that you can understand and definitely music which you can bop to.

and the weather has been pretty bad these days. its always raining and so my feet are always cold. and when i tried wearing socks i slip and fall. yes, in my own house. how tragic is that.

i know what's brewing for my birthday. hurhur. GUYS it's supposed to be a surprise birthday party. oh well i'll just have to act surprised then. another year older another year wizen. not wise mind you. i wonder where that saying came from man. who said older=wiser. aren't older people more prone to getting amnesia, alzeimer's and what not. oh the world and it's many ironies.

so far i've been a happy camper. cleaned out my room so now its much cleaner. oh and while i was cleaning i found disgusting loads of white egg like things in my bag cupboard. damn sick la. i think there's a colony there.ewwwww. had to get reinforcements while doing that. my maid is a ding dong and she's scared of roaches. not good.

hello people of the world. i'm back from my hiatus. heh i kinda like that word man. its cool describes more than what it seems. words like innuendo, satirical, incapacitated are cool. oh the draw of long cheem words. anyway here are the pictures of thailand which i finally got my lazy ass to upload :) alot of picures of food though. hur what can i say the food was absolutely wonderful. we went to banyan tree which was pretty expensive. cost about 60 bucks per head but the view was great and the company even better.

the last picture is of the king and elvis presley!! we took this picture from a can uncle. and its not photoshopped wad so ever, it seriously is a classic.

night out with mel was absolutely fun :) everyone was so late. i was the only one sitting by my poor lonesome self in the restaurant. and i had to pretend to be absorbed by the menu so the waiters and waitresses wouldn't come and bother me. anyway everyone only came at around eight. mel was the latest as usual.

first course was foi gras!! it was soooo good :)

we had beef stew which was yummy!!! there was so much beef. and it was really tender. mel scared me by saying she doesn't eat beef!! cos she watched this show and the way they killed beef was atrocious. but after telling her that cows couldn't tell their left from their right, she was won over. and i might add, she did enjoy the stew.

mel ordered this weird tea thing which we had to pour over salmon it was healthy buttt i didn't really like it. tasted like some thunder rice thing. eh mel u like this type of thing, i bring u go eat.

finally one pic of mel driving. i have a video and pic of mel driving. it was the first time she drove and her dad was in the car. rather traumatising i must say. i've got a pic of kee as well. so now keaps is the final one!! dont you think she's got damn alot of seh when she drives?

after eating at sun and moon, we bought tickets for a movie then we headed down to coffee club, where i was still hungry so i ordered bangers and mash, cos i had this craving. but sadly it wasnt as good as the one i had in thailand. initially i ordered it for myself but when the waiter placed it on our table, i saw 2 hungry ghost faces so i decided to share. hahahaha. after eating that, we were still hungry so we ordred salad. and finally we were satisfied!!
the movie, mr magorium. it was pretty childish. but i cried. it was sad larrr. while waiting for the movie we camera whored.

since i kept cutting keaps out ( she seriously didn't get the hint! i just wanted a pic of me and mel!! she kept sticking her head in) hahahahaha kidding la babe. you know i love u. anyway a few pics of keaps and mel :)
